Who is it for?
The AMP Candidate category is available for CAAMP members who have met the requirements to become an AMP but who lack the required two years mortgage industry experience.
Once the industry experience requirement has been met, the AMP Candidate will be granted AMP Status.
What do I have to do to become an AMP Candidate?
- Be a CAAMP Member in good standing
- Complete CAAMP’s pre-accreditation course, Ethics and Responsibilities for Mortgage Professionals
- Provide proof of mortgage industry experience
- Provide proof of successful completion of a Mortgage Industry Proficiency Course
What are the Benefits?
AMP Candidates:
- Will be identified as such on the CAAMP website under Find a Member
- Will receive AMP pricing for all CAAMP events
- Can use AMP Candidate on their business card
- Have access to CAAMP’s free Continuing Education (CE) offered to AMPs
- Can inform their clients and business partners of their progress in meeting the requirements to become an AMP
