CAAMP committee members make a contribution to the development of the association by volunteering their time, ideas and knowledge.

Responsible for CAAMP’s communications strategy and focuses primarily on the editorial content for the Mortgage Journal and the branding of the AMP.

The purpose of the NEC Appeals Committee is to deal with appeals from decisions of the NEC.

Responsible for the development and delivery of entry-level and ongoing education programs for mortgage professionals. Responsible for the development and implementation of the Accredited Mortgage Professional (AMP) designation.

Identifies areas of concern at the provincial and federal level and liases/lobbies with provincial and federal representatives to address these issues.

Grow membership and ensure a high level of satisfaction through providing quality services, benefits and programs.

Responsible for the investigation and enforcement of violations of the Code of Ethics and any other infringement of the By-laws, or other regulations of the Corporation or any other conduct unbecoming a member of the Corporation.

Utilizes the knowledge and experience of Past Presidents in an advisory capacity as requested from the Board of Directors from time to time.

Responsible for regional events including symposiums, golf tournaments and social activities.

The role of the Professional Standards Committee is to identify and encourage high standards of professional practice in the mortgage industry. These standards address issues of competence and practice standards as opposed to ethical standards which are dealt with by the National Ethics Committee.

Ensures that the association's By-laws remain current and reflect the needs of the organization and its stakeholders.

The Nominations Committee shall be appointed by the Board of Directors for the purpose of ensuring that there are eligible candidates running for each of the available positions and the Nominations Committee shall oversee the entire process of electing of Directors.

Responsible for developing the conference program including speaker selection.
