May 2009
A Message from the Chairman Pierre Martel, CHA
It has already been a busy year for the association.
CAAMP’s regional symposiums have been providing an ideal
forum for mortgage professionals to educate themselves, share knowledge
and gain insight on issues facing today’s mortgage industry.
Quality, cost-effective educational offerings continue to provide
industry professionals with timely and relevant information to ensure
they have the knowledge and capabilities necessary to understand current
business trends and changing industry regulations. CAAMP’s courses
are designed to fit the needs of our members and are conveniently offered
in-class, online and through self-study.
We have experienced unprecedented media coverage primarily
as a result of the release of our spring survey report, The Canadian
Residential Mortgage Market during Challenging Times, compiled
by CAAMP’s Chief Economist Will Dunning. Our radio ad has been playing
across the country, our print ads have been appearing in local and
national papers and our website will soon be going through a complete
renovation.
As the summer approaches, there are no signs of slowing and the association
is poised to provide the value and services our members have come to
expect and enjoy.
